Mobile - How do I change the status of the work orders?
In the state
transition, you must consider that:
- to remove the
transitions performed, before synchronizing, click on the arrow to the
right of the status.
- If the statuses
transition performed requires a justification, a dialog is displayed to
insert the justification;
- If the chosen
status is one which initiates downtime and the work order's "operation
status" field is filled in as a downtime status, a dialog is
displayed, questioning whether downtime should also be applied to all the
work order's asset children.
- If the chosen
status is one which no longer has any possible transitions, it will no
longer be possible to access the statuses list.
To change a WO's
status, follow these steps:
- On the dashboard, click on Report Work or select My Work on the menu;
- Select the WO you
want to change;
- Select the status;
- Select the status
you want to switch the WO to.
When changing to another status,
take the following
aspects into consideration:
- You can remove
the transitions performed. Thus, before synchronizing, click on the
arrow to the right of the status:
- If the statuses
transition performed requires a justification, you should insert
the corresponding justification. Here, the fields Justification (automatically
filled in if there is a default justification), Justification Type (automatically
filled in if there is a default justification type) are available. This
field is only available if you choose the transition's justification) and Notes
(free text) You can fill in all the fields, but only the Justification
field or the Notes field must be filled in;
- If the chosen
status is one which initiates downtime and the work order's "Operation
Status field is filled in as a downtime status, you should
indicate whether you want the downtime to be applied to all the WO's asset
children as well.
- If the chosen
status is one which no longer has any possible transitions, it will
no longer be possible to access the statuses list.
If the WO status is
configured to Start Timer, when the WO switches to that status, it
automatically starts the labor time. If it is configured as End Timer,
when the WO switches to that status, labor time finishes automatically.
