How do I load batch meter readings?
The meter values can be fed information from individual records or through batch records by importing .csv files.
To load batch meter reading, select the option Definitions | General | File Importation or using the meter reading list (Assets | Meters and Monitorings | Meter Readings ) by selecting the option Import Meter Readings.
- The import screen is presented;
- Download the model file on the upper side of the screen and fill in the file;
- You must fill in the file according to the rules
- The fields MeterValueKey, Meter, AssetType, Asset, Date e Company must be defined.
- Only one of these columns, Increment or Reading, must be filled on and must be according to the meter type.
- The column AssetType must contain one of the values:
- In case the asset is a location
- In case the asset is an equipment
- In case the asset is a tool
- When the import is finished, the import date will be presented that might (or not) contain messages with import details; if an import occurrs with no errors/warnings no information on the import details will be presented; if the import records errors/warnings, you can see the errors by clicking on the number of messages.
- The upload is performed by company and as a transaction. That is, all records regarding the company must be inserted successfully, otherwise, no record for that company is recorded.
- You must fill in the file, load it on the section "Select file to import"
- Press the button "Import"
When filling in the file, you must consider the following points:
- The file must always be of the CSV type and the separator character must be “;” (semicolon);
- Check if all values with zeros on the left are kept. Some editing software products can remove the zeros;
- The field MeterKeyValue is used exclusively to identify each record in this file and will not be reflected on the backoffice;
- If there is more than one row with the same value in the field MeterKeyValue, only the last value will be imported;
- The decimal values must be separated by “.” (dot).
Each file cannot have more than 1000 records.
