How to report consumptions associated with the work order?

How do I report consumptions associated with the work order?

When a WO is in a state that allows to record costs, it is possible to record material consumption. However, you should consider that:

  1. you can only associate the labor with the authenticated user.
  2. you can only select warehouses from the company to which you are going to report consumption;
  3. the Workshop manager to whom the WO belongs can create, edit, and delete logs by the technician;
  4. if you create a consumption and associate an externally managed warehouse, you will not be able to select warehouses in other consumption lines that are not externally managed.

To log material consumption, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Work | Work Orders;
  2. Select the WO in which you want to log the cost;
  3. In the Operations button, click on Consumption;
  4. Click on Create;
  5. Ensure the registration date is no earlier than the WO's creation date;
  6. By default, the Equipment, Tool, or Location fields are filled in with the WO's asset;
  7. If the WO is for a Route, choose the asset category and only then select the corresponding asset. In this case, you must fill in the Equipment, Tool, or Location;
  8. You can report the WO consumption:
    1. to the maintenance plan: select the maintenance plan you want to report. You can only report to the maintenance plans associated with the WO;
    2. to the maintenance plan task: select the maintenance plan. It is only possible to report the tasks that are associated with the selected maintenance plan;
    3. to additional tasks: you can only report to the tasks that are associated with the WO:
  9. Fill in the remaining fields;
  10. Click on Save and New.
