How do I manage batch work orders?

Work Order (WO) management was designed to increase the maintenance manager productivity. Thus, with this feature, the manager is now able to:
  1. change the state of several WOs simultaneously;
  2. print several WOs simultaneously;

To manage WOs in batch, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Work | Work Order Management
  2. Select the WO Status;
  3. Define the WO's Workshop, Start and End Date (optional). If you don't fill in any date, the system filters the data by the WO date;
  4. Select the Asset (optional). Only one asset can be selected at a time;
  5. Click on Apply;
  6. Select the WOs for which you want to perform the same operation;
  7. Select the operation you want to perform:
    1. Change Status: after selecting the WOs, in the Operation section select the status you want to assign to the WO and click on the Change Status button;
    2. Print: after selecting the WOs, click on the Print button;
    3. Change Status and Print: after selecting the WOs, in the Operation section select the status you want to assign to the WO and click on the Change Status and Print button.
    4. Assign: after selecting the WOs, in the Assign/ Unassign section select the employees to assign the WO to;
    5. Unassign: after selecting the WOs, in the Assign/Unassign section select the employees you want to remove from the WO assignment.

Any operation mentioned is processed in the background. This means that you can carry out other tasks and, when the processing is finished, you will be notified.

If you have opted for the Print and Change Status and Print operations, the WOs will only be printed when the processing is finished.

When changing the management of the status in batch, it is not possible to add a justification to the status transition, nor will the user responsible for the operation be filled in. This way, when printing the operational report, the Responsible field will not be filled in.
