The asset explorer
allows you to get an overview of the asset, avoiding having to consult
several lists.
As well as displaying
descriptive information, by selecting the asset in the explorer you will also
have access to the work information created for the asset in question, namely:
the number of orders, preventatives, and WOs.
This feature is
available in Assets | Assets Explorer and is only accessible to the Administrator profile.
Here you can see the
assets structure by company:
- The first level
displays the assets with no parent asset;
- When there are
child assets, you can expand and see their information.
If you click on a card,
the application opens a side panel with all the detailed information regarding
the last 10 orders/preventives/WOs.
Creating assets from the explorer
In the assets’
explorer, as well as having an overview of the company's assets, you can also create
equipment or locations.
To create an asset,
select the asset you want on the tree and click on the "..." icon. If
the selected asset is:
- a location,
the new asset will inherit that location;
- an equipment,
the new asset will inherit that parent equipment.
