How do I see the Faults dashboard?

The dashboard Faults shows metrics and indicators relating to the fault record of devices and tools.

To access this dashboard, click on the icon Applications in the top left corner of the header, and then in the option Analytics. A tab will open with all the dashboards provided by Cegid Valuekeep. On this page, in the menu, click on Faults.

Information available

Through this dashboard, you can see a range of information on faults, divided into 4 tabs.

1. Summary
Here, the KPIs are shown on the:
  1. total number of faults.
  2. number of faults that caused environmental damage.
  3. number of faults that caused personal injury.
  4. number of faults that increase the risk of personal injury.
To help interpret the data, there is a table with the main 10 causes of faults.
In addition, you can see a pie chart with the faults organised by family.

2. Indicators
In this tab, you can see the following data:
  1. MTBF: number of operational hours divided by the number of faults. The number of operational hours is calculated on the basis of the start date set in the filter, i.e:
    - if the start date is earlier than the date of entry into operation (set in the asset), we calculate the difference (in days) between the end date of the filter and the date of entry into operation and this result is multiplied by the working time (set in the asset);
    - if the start date is later than the date of entry into operation (set in the asset), we calculate the difference (in days) between the end date of the filter and the filter start date and this result is multiplied by the working time;

  2. Failure rate: number of faults divided by the number of operational hours.
Two line graphs per year are also shown with information on the MTBF and the Failure Rate, both per month.

3. Devices
A table is shown with the information grouped by device family and devicewith the columns "Number of Faults", "MTBF" and "Fault Rate".

4. Tools
A table is shown with the information grouped by tool family and toolwith the columns "Number of Faults", "MTBF" and "Fault Rate".

Filters

In any tab, you can change the filters using the option Edit Filters. You should bear in mind that
  1. The filter Company only shows the companies to which you have access;
  2. Only data with dashboard records is visible in the filter selector.
