How do I create the work order type?
Work order types allow you to classify the work orders and to apply specific behaviors after being configured. To create a new work order type, select the Definitions | Work | Work Order Types option:
- The list of work order types is presented;
- Press the button "create"
The work order types are divided in 2 main sections:
- Default value - the values configured in this section will be automatically filled in the work order file when the user selects this type of work order
- Work order assignment - the system can automatically assign the work order to one or more technicians according to the following rules:
- Assign to the WO creator - if this field is selected, when a work order of this type is automatically creates, it will be assigned to the technician that created it.
- Assign to the person responsible for WO - if this field is selected, when a work order of this type is automatically creates, it will be assigned to the person responsible for the work order.
- Assign to the workshop managers - if this field is selected, when a work order of this type is automatically creates, it will be assigned to all the ones responsible for the workshop of the work order.
- Assign to the workshop technicians - if this field is selected, when a work order of this type is automatically creates, it will be assigned to all technicians that are not responsible for the workshop of the work order.
Fill in the data. The information to be filled in is organized in tabs. You can see the required fields using the orange margin or from the list on the right lower corner, next to the Reset button;
