How do I create a work order for a route from a preventive maintenance event?
It is possible to create a work order automatically or at user request from a preventive maintenance event:
- Automatic creation
- For the Work Order to be generated automatically on the preventive maintenance sheet:
- The state in which the work order is created must be defined in the WO Status field;
- The automatic reprogramming service must be activated;
- On the day the event takes place, when the service is performed, the associated work order will be created.
- Creation at user request
- To manually create a work order, you need to:
- Go to the list of preventive maintenance events, at Work | Preventive Maintenance | Preventive Maintenance Events;
- Select the event and in the Operations link, select the Create Work Order option.
Once the Work Order has been generated, the assets of the selected route are associated with the work order.
Assets that are new on the route after the Work Order has been generated will not be associated.
Route assets marked as inactive will not be associated.
Route elements in downtime are associated with the Work Order.
