How do I change the preventive event date on the event form?

On the preventive maintenance event form, you can postpone or delay the event date according to the following rules:

  1. The new event date must not be earlier than the previous event or later than the next one, in order to maintain the order of the preventive maintenance;
  2. When preventive maintenance is rescheduled (automatically or manually), fixed-date events keep the same fixed/scheduled date;
  3. If the preventive automatically creates a WO, it will be created on the new event date;
  4. If the event already has a WO, the date cannot be changed;
  5. If after changing the event date you want to restore the original date, simply delete the Fixed Date value. On the next recalculation, the Estimated Date will take on the date given by the recalculation.

To change the preventive event date on the event form, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Work | Preventive Maintenance | Maintenance Events;
  2. Select the preventive event;
  3. Change the Fixed Date field;
  4. Click on Save.
