How to create a notification?

To create a new Notification, select the option Settings | System | Notifications:
  1. The notifications list is presented
  2. Press the "Create" button;
  3. The notification creation screen is presented. On the rule tab, you can define the notification sending rules.
According to each rule, the notifications can be sent to additional recipients dynamically. In the case of a notification rule, the additional recipients are determined and fixated to send the notification.
The notification rules are grouped by categories as follows:
  1. Requests
    1. When a Request is created
    2. When a Request changes states
    3. When a New Follow-up Message is Added
  2. Work Order
    1. When a Work Order is created
    2. When a Work Order changes states
    3. When a Work Order is assigned
    4. When a New Follow-up Message is Added
  3. Preventive Maintenance
    1. When a Preventive Maintenance is created
    2. When a Preventive Maintenance changes states
    3. Before the Preventive Maintenance Event
    4. Number of days of anticipation to send notifications comparing to the event day
  4. Meters
    1. When the Meter value is higher than a specific value
    2. When the Meter value is multiplied by a specific value
  5. Monitorings
    1. When the Value is higher than the superior Action Limit
    2. When the Value is higher than the superior Warning Limit
    3. When the Value is lower than the inferior Warning Limit
    4. When the Value is lower than the inferior Action Limit
  6. Parts and Inventory
    1. When the stock is lower than the minimum set by warehouse and it is not set by the minimum stock set for the part.
  7. Background Services
    1. When a KPI service fails
    2. When the Uptime service fails
    3. When the Preventive Maintenance service fails
    The rules to determine the additional recipients are as follows:
    1. Requester: sends an email associated to the Requester. Only applies to requests.
    2. Person in Charge of Asset: sends email/push notification to the person in charge of the asset. Only applicable to requests.
    3. Workshop Managers: if defined, sends email/push notification to the workshop managers. When there is no workshop associated, it sends to all managers in all workshops. Applicable to work orders, requests and preventive maintenances.
    4. Employees Assigned to the Work Order: sends email/push notification to all employees assigned to the work order. Only applicable to work orders.
    5. Person in Charge of the Work Order: sends email/push notification to all person in charge of the work order. Only applicable to work orders.
    These are the sending rules:
    1. Email: sends email messages.
    2. Push Notification: sends push notification for the CMMS Web and CMMS Mobile.   
    Enter the data. The information to be filled in is organized in tabs. You can see the required fields using the orange margin or from the list on the right lower corner, next to the Reset button;

    The notification type used for each rule on the CMMS Web is:
    • Background Services: Error

    • Meters: Warning

    • All other rules: Information

    Connections are automatically generated to edit the entity related to the rule on the push notification of the CMMS Web, in case the Key and Description tags are used on the sending template.

    The maximum notification size is 1024 characters, including HTML code, such as links or other elements.
