Calculating Preventive Maintenance events with counters and Opening or Closure scheduling criteria

The cumulative reading value of a preventive maintenance event becomes the same as the last counter reading when:
  1. the Work Order has an associated preventive event;
  2. the event is the last one with an associated Work Order (most recent);
  3. the preventive event has scheduling criteria Opening or Closure;
  4. a counter is associated with the preventive event plan.
This happens when opening or closing a Work Order for editing.

In other words, when opening/closing the preventive Work Order and if you have associated a preventive event with criteria other than Fixed the application updates the cumulative value of the event with the current counter reading.
In the next recalculation, the next events will be calculated based on the reading from the last event.

When the criterion for scheduling preventive care is Closure, the Work Order for the next event is opened if the Work Order of the previous event is in a status that ends the SLA end date (Work Order Status Flow).
